£180,000 donated to the Win-Glio Programme of clinical trials, led by Dr Paul Mulholland at UCL (University College London) in remembrance of Dame Margaret McDonagh. Dr Mulholland is a medical oncologist who exclusively treats brain cancer. It is an ambitious programme to improve outcomes for glioblastoma patients with the aim of curing brain cancer.
£13,000 donated to Project Maji for a water well with 3 water points in Machakos, Kenya. This water well supplies clean water to neighbouring villages.
Well done to our two disability teams who attended the Premier League Disability Football Festival this week at Wolverhampton Wanderers Foundation. Both age groups reached the finals and lost in close matches
We are pleased to donate £500 to Wiltshire Treehouse, a charity supporting bereaved children and young people in Swindon and Wiltshire. Our donation will help provide vital guidance to parents and carers, deliver inclusive bereavement support programs, offer professional training to improve grief responses, and train volunteers to ensure high-quality support. Wiltshire Treehouse’s essential work makes a real difference in the lives of grieving families, and we are proud to support their impactful mission.

£3000 has been donated towards the Footprints Academy based in Majimboni, Shimba Hills, Kenya. This money has been used to pay for a teachers salary for a year, plus provide exercise books for the children.

Colliers Wood Little League Football received a donation from Embassy of Man of £1,050 to cover Council fees for marking and maintaining the pitch.
Embassy of Man (the in-house charity of Holiday Inn Express Wimbledon South) awarded a grant of £1,450 to purchase Occupational Therapy equipment which is reducing hyper-sensitivity of pupils to different sounds making them feel more comfortable in their surroundings.
Our General Manager at Holiday Inn Express Wimbledon South nominated First Touch as her charity and Embassy of Man donated and presented a Specialist cot to the neo natal unit at St George’s Hospital Tooting to care for premature, sick and new born babies. We have also recently agreed to meet the cost of one specialist mattress to go with the cots.
